Kansei KNP Wheel 18x9 / 5x114.3 / 35mm Offset

Kansei is one of the new wheel kids on the block. These guys are doing some truly unique things from design to manufacturing methods. The KNP is Kansei's flag ship wheel, the one that started it all and one of 3 Formlite wheels in the line up. Concave and featuring a stepped lip, the goal with this wheel, as with the other Formlites is to bring old school JDM style back with a modern twist.

Formlite Radial Barrel Structuring Process

Kansei's advanced Formlite process applies radial pressure to the wheel's barrel section under intense heat. As the wheel casting & mandrel spin, rollers manipulate the barrel material to form the shape of the back half of the wheel. This results in a thinner, lighter and stronger back. The wheel's aluminum grain structure is now aligned and radially, improving impact and strain resistance.
